I am so sorry. This sounds very distressing. I'm assuming your hamster had babies and didn't survive. That is very sad. Big hugs.

Mekacrew, I am terribly sorry for the loss of your mum hamster and one of her pups. What extremely sad and heartbreaking news! I will DEFINITELY be praying for you and all of the remaining litter. The babies rely on you, and I know that you will help them through all of this. You are such a loving hammy owner, and I know that you will give all of them tremendous amounts of love and tender care. Give all of them a sweet kiss from all of us here, and know that you are in our thoughts. Please take comfort in the fact that there was nothing that you could have done to save both of them, and they will be together until you are all reunited once again. Take care and best of luck with everything. My heart truly goes out to you and the babies! Let us know if there is anything that we can do to help ease your pain or if you have any questions. R.I.P., hammy mum and baby! May you run free, healthy, and happy over the Rainbow Bridge!

I'm so sorry for your loss

It's such a sad thing to see our little ones being brought down by an illness which we can't do anything about except watch. As for her pups, how old are they? I'm not at all experienced with helping orphaned hamster pups so you may want to consult a breeder or someone who is experienced and ask them on how you can raise them. May she Rest In Peace

I'm so very sorry for your loss, it must be heartbreaking to lose a mum & pup & be left to care for the remaining pups, I hope they survive ok.

I don't want to be harsh mekacrew but maybe this will help you to understand why we tried to discourage you from breeding your pet shop hams, you can never know what will happen so best to keep them all apart, enjoy the hams you have & avoid having to go through a difficult time like this again.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's possible that she couldn't bear the toll of two pregnancies in a row. Maybe if you kept daughter and mom together the daughter can adopt the mom's litters, but that is going to be hard for a ham that it's not fully grown and she could end up paying with his life too. I would follow chesca's advice (in your other post). I wish you the best with the other pups. You must be having a really hard time, but as cypher said, try to learn from your mistakes and next time consider experienced people's advice.

Rest in peace little ones

So sorry for your loss. Back to back pregnancies will have been hard for the mother ham.
Fingers crossed the other pups make it.
