I haven't been active on here very much for some time, I've not coped very well with the loss of my lovely Myrcella. I also lost my job, and have been going through various other problems which has been difficult for me.

On the 14/10/16 I lost my job and I also lost Myrcella. I woke up in the morning to find her passed away. It was a great shock to me, even though she had recently gone through surgery for Pyometra and wasn't very well with other problems which she was treated for, she was still the spunky happy girl she had always been the day before she passed away. I wish I could have done more for her, but I really did the best I could.

Myrcella was the start of my line for Autumn Hamstery and I couldn't have been happier. She was the most loving hamster and always craved my attention no matter how much I'd love her! I remember being very excited to get my first pedigree hamster from Leedsgurl, I can't thank you enough for raising such a special sweetheart and allowing me to have the privilege of owning a lovely leedsham.

She will be dearly missed and my heart still hurts and tears flow every time I think of her but I know she's happy now she's finally able to meet her true love, Winston, over rainbow bridge. They both desperately loved each other. When I paired Myrcella with Buddy she wouldn't stand for him... so I had to trick her with her love, Winston, so she would stand! I'm happy now they're able to play well and run free together over rainbow bridge.

Hello Winnie. I am so sorry about Myrcella - she was lovely. It's so hard when they get ill and then pass on when we just want them to be fit and happy forever. xxx It sounds like a tough time losing your job at the same time. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that everything picks up for you in 2017. It's lovely to see you back on here by the way.

I am so sorry that your return is with such sad news Winnie. I realised that you had not been on and wondered how things were for you and your hammies. I am so sorry about Myrcella. I remember your pride and excitement when she came home to you from Leedsgurl. She was a beautiful girl and had a lovely life in your care. I really hope this year will see an upturn in your life because you so deserve it.

Rest In Peace Myrcella. She was a very beautiful hammy. You were very lucky to have her! I'm very sorry for your loss . I lost my guinea pig a couple of days before (12/10/16) and I have only recently been able to truly accept it. Time is a great healer.

I know losing a hamster is hard. You still have all your memories of her ,as well as, a small piece of her lives on in Abe and Belle Aria. Remember all the good times you spent with her and know that she was loved and had a fantastic life.
