I really am a monster!
went to give the Campbells a tickle and found the Bursar wouldn't wake up, his head looked wrong and he was half under the wheel. Dave removed him he is totally dead, and I don't know how or why, there is no blood no cuts, and he showed no signs at all. I have cleaned the cage out but I don't want to put the others back in as I don't know what went wrong.
I have been worried about Shadow (there is sqweeking in her cage now) but have been looking and playing with them regularly it must have happened last night, but I cant figure out what. What did I do that killed my lovely little Dove Mottled? It was Dave's one, the one he wanted, and he is all upset, and I don't know why he died

Anita I am sure it is just one of those random freek incidents - maybe he caught a glancing blow from the wheel? without an autopsy you will probably never know, he was loved and well cared for while with you.
Rest in Peace little guy.

So sorry to hear that. It's horrible to find a loved pet dead with none, or little, evidence of what happened. As babyboos said, you loved him and that's what matters. Rest in peace little one. x
