Flowerfairy the coconut photo was a joint winner of one of the photo contests so I couldn't enter it again but it is one her most endearing pics & a favourite for me.

Serendipity I like the idea of forget me nots too, I was just looking at my hamster safe plant list the other day & just suddenly thought daisies would be nice, I have some of those!
I'm doing ok thanks, it's hard but I'm coping, I still can't stop talking to her but don't really want to.
Odd things catch me out, I was potting up lettuce seedlings earlier & it struck me as unbearably sad that she'll never get to eat them, that really set me off again.
I'm trying to distract myself in the garden mostly but I am totally frozen & had to come in & warm up!

Daisies are lovely and very natural. It is extremely cold today! We've had sleet again. I think distraction is the thing to do to help cope - big hugs. Maybe focus on the other two little ones who will enjoy your lettuce seedlings Mickle has all the lettuce she wants now in Hammy Heaven. You must miss her terribly, but I'm sure she knows that x

Oh cypher, what a beautiful area you have for those 3 precious friends. All created with such love for them. Clearing away is painful because it feels like we are tidying them away out of our lives. But we know that is not so. These little ones may be small but their impact is huge and remain part of our lives always.

Dauntless Mickle and the mighty nests. I'm sorry illness took her but glad she's peaceful. I shall remember her in her lovely tribal head nest,like an Amazon queen at rest. Oh No! Cypher, I am so sorry to see that you've lost Mickle. I am back from a long while away and it's just so sad to see who's gone to the bridge. Your burial spot is so nice and and the plaques and stones are just beautiful. None of the three amigos will be forgotten by the HC folk. What a stunner little Mickle was. {{hugs}}

Serendipity thanks, yes the lettuce will be enjoyed by the other two (& me too!) so I'll try to let it just bring happy memories of my Ickle Mickle now.
I'm having to try not to spoil the others too much right now, best distraction ever bless them!

Coco you're exactly right about how it feels to clear away their things, I'll try to tell myself that I'm just packing the memories away in my heart now.

velma & DrK thank you both, I'm glad you were able to share in her life a little & enjoy her funny little antics.

I do love my little spot in the garden & it brings me peace sitting there remembering the good times & just chatting to them, I know I'll feel a lot better when I have Mickle's little memorial to complete the little family there.

Oh dear, this is saddening news to get back to. My thoughts are with you, Mickle really was special.
