I am so sorry Amy - he was a little legend. I will miss seeing him on HC. Run free little trooper - you were truly loved not only by your mum but by many at HC. xxx

Re: Sleep tight Stumpy
Wow what a shock to see this thread the minute HC loaded on my PC. First my condolences on your loss. Though two years is a good age it is still so soon to say goodbye. Stumpy was such and inspiration on how Hamsters can cope with a disability. I remember the many post wondering how a Hamster would survive with only one front paw. All those questions asked at that time like would he be able to unpouch, could he use his wheel like a normal hamster, How ever would he manage to wash his whole face etc. Day by day, and then Month by month Stumpy himself gave us all the answers.
Rest well Little big Man you were a one of a kind Hamster, and though we can no longer see you, your presence will always be felt on HC.
