Unhappy Sleep tight Neptune xx

It is with deep sadness that I am writing this memorial for Neptune, known to many as Tuna Chops. A fantastic ham with a huge appetite for life and food.

He may be gone but will always be in our hearts. We miss you so much Tuna Chops!

Neptune certainly was a special boy, known for his size, love of food, sleeping positions and most of all his strength to survive two tumour operations, the first at 5 months and the second earlier this year. He has taken life in his stride and was such a good boy, a friendly little man and a true heart ham.

He had an amazing life reaching to the age of two....he was well loved and I have taken comfort that his passing was peaceful.

Run and play well at the bridge Tuna Chops, hope they have good porridge for you up there. xx

So sorry for your loss. Tuna chops was such a wonderful character he couldn't help but be a big part of your life. I loved seeing a post about him. Thank you so much for sharing him with us. He lived a great life with you and you took fantastic care of him getting him through some serious issues and giving him lots of hammy fun. It's a blessing he went quickly although a shock to yourself. He will be with you in spirit on you upcoming wedding day then back off to the bridge to enjoy the fun there. RIP Neptune. You will be missed.

Lovely memorial photos Bec, I'm so sorry he's gone & know how very much he will be missed but he will live forever in your heart.
Nestled deep in your heart your best man will be there to watch over your wedding with a smile & a blessing too.

He will be very much missed & very fondly remembered here on HC too, it was always a pleasure to see him & hear about his antics, I'm sure to his amazing resilience & powers of recovery gave hope to others dealing with similar situations.

He had an amazing & very happy life with you, no ham could have wished for better.

Run free & play well at the bridge Neptune, enjoy treats galore & as many cosy nests as any ham could wish for.

Tuna....gutted we didn't get the pleasure of looking after you whilst Mummy and Daddy got married, but so glad you didn't have to suffer for very long! What a lucky boy you was to have such an amazing life. So going to miss all your funny stories and adorable pictures, you always made me smile. Really you shouldn't of made it to the grand old age of two, two ops and you
Soldiered on and took it all in your stride like the little trooper you was. HC will be quiet without you!

Sleep tight big boy, hope the bridge is full to the brim with porridge just for you xx

I am so very sorry Bec. He was a fab age and a tribute to your love and care. He really was the most special of boys with his quirky character and his beautiful nature. A true gentleham. I think that quick is best when this happens.
Look back and smile at the memories and the life shared. It is too short for tears.
Play well at the bridge Neptune xxx

What a lovely little (big) chap he was! The photos are absolutely fantastic. A credit to you for your commitment to him and unconditional love.

You'll certainly miss the fella but he's clearly had a positive impact on your life and it's great you take comfort in his peaceful passing.

RIP Neptune.

Now go run free and wreak some havoc in your new life!!

So sorry to hear this about Neptune, he sounds like he was a brave little ham and will always know how much he was loved.

Even though it'll bring tears to your eyes at first, remember all the good times you shared and all the joys he brought to your life.

RIP Neptune.

So very sorry at this news Bec. As it was his time, it was good that he slipped away quietly in his sleep.
Neptune was one of those special hammies that captured hearts all over HC. We followed his life and were always cheered by the photos you posted of him. Thank you for sharing him with us and for the smiles he brought to our lives.
May he now be at the bridge happily nomming whenever he wants. Send kisses to your Mum and Dad for their big day Tuna Chops. You will never be forgotten.
