R.I.P. Lucky
My Roborovski dwarf hamster, Lucky was put to sleep at the vet this afternoon aged 2 years and 1 month. He had been squeaking a lot and in pain for the past few weeks due to old age. I am sad but the thought that he is now free of pain consoles me.
Dear Lucky, I look forward to our reunion at the Rainbow Bridge one day....

A sure sign of a good owner is knowing when to let the hamster cross over the rainbow bridge.
