Rest in peace baby Dos
I got you only a short year or so ago, I went to a small pet store to pick out a ham for my two year anniversary with my s/o. I knew nothing about hams, only that I wanted one. I saw dos in this tank by himself and I thought he was lonely, so I chose him. I picked him out and went to Walmart to buy a cage, oh boy. I got this little tiny cage called a hamster fun home... How you know it was the worst cage ever... A few months later I signed up for HC and learned how to properly take care of you... You were my best friend and I haven't cried this hard in so long. I hope there are tons of yogies and wooden cheeseburgers in hammy heaven. RIP baby Dos.

Aww Dos sounds so sweet and a great first time Hamster for you. He is at peace now, no more pain, no more struggles. I'm sure at Rainbow bridge the bowls are always stocked high with Yogies and wooden Cheeseburgers, and the Wheel never squeaks and is the best ever.
RIP Dos you will be remembered forever

Thanks for all your kind words guys. I laid him to rest in a planter today after a not so successful attempt at digging a hole. I had to clean his cage out because I couldn't stand to look at it and cry any longer. I loved that ham more than anything and I am deeply upset that he is no longer here. He will always be my heart ham. I tried to give him a good life so that makes me feel a little better.

So sad to hear about Dos. Everyone knows how much you loved him, you gave him a life of love, care and plenty fun. It's good to cry, and talk about it. I know how you feel. They leave such a big hole in your life when they go. I love the planter you did for him - so beautiful just like the little guy himself.
