So sorry to hear this Nancy, maybe what he needed was a little bit of TLC to help him end his life in comfort, and you certainly gave him that.

Oh so sorry. <3 Kebes. He became an instant HC legend, the iconic misunderstood, mistreated Hammie with the big personality stifled in the tiny cage.
I am so glad he had the brief time with you in his mansion and was able to be his full self and show you who he really was. In Hamster time it was probably a few years. Nancy you are surely going down in Hamster history for The Legend of Kebes.
Enjoy the spaciousness at the bridge Kebes, and keep watch over all your misunderstood, mistreated brethren. x

When his journey was at its end and a new journey yet to begin, and you were not to know this then, he needed the touch of that human soul Nancy to prepare him with the wings to fly - to know how strong a human love can be for their little critters - your love gave him the strength to fly. Run free little Kebes - hugs to you Nancy. Kebes has just taught us all another lesson - if in doubt whether or not to rescue - go and rescue if you have room in your inn xx
