An update and farewell to Loaf
So, I haven't posted in quite a while, at least not for a couple months now. Unfortunately, the reason for that is that my dear Loaf has passed.
It was his time; I knew this immediately when I noticed he was getting weaker, as hamsters in their old age tend to do. So, as I waited for the inevitable, I provided him with a comfortable life, giving plenty of treats within easy reach and a small heating lamp for warmth.
Loaf was a sweet, cheeky critter right up until the end. I know he's happy and well.
I love you, Loaf. Farewell, old friend.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Loaf. He was obviously very well cared for and very loved and lived a happy life with you.

Aww Kimberly so sorry to hear that Loaf passed away, what a little darling and cheeky man who was loved and cared for so much.
You'll have so many happy memories to look back on and the above pic really shows his cheeky character.
