Paisley's Gone. :(
I first saw her in Petco, weaving back and forth in the store cage. She looked like she was brain damaged, and when I picked her, the store clerk exclaimed to another, "She's getting the one that does that funny thing all the time!". She then went on to say that Paisley had been at the store for about a month, always doing that weaving thing.
I took her home and gave her a nice big tank with a nice big wheel and she slowly stopped weaving and became the nice normal ham I new she could be. When she grew frail and old, and I new her end was near (she had managed to live to a ripe old age of 2 and a half years), I told her it was okay to go onto the Rainbow Bridge. A few days later, she passed peacefully in her sleep, and is now a lovely little angel ham, playing happily near the Bridge.
While I am sad to see her go, I am also glad I got to know her, and help her life be as rich and as full as it could possibly be, rescuing her from her terrible weaving days at the store.

Re: Paisley's Gone. :(
Oh Holly! I am so sorry to see this post. Years ago I adopted a gerbil who had been used in lab experiments. He had a really bad head tilt. But, over time, and with another gerbil's assistance, he did very well. These are the ones no one else wants. I'm so glad you took her home and gave her the life she deserved. You gave her a great long life. {hugs} for you, and play well at the Bridge Paisley.
