Thank you all for your kind words. Just over two weeks on and the grief has lessened, but I think of Maple's little face, look out the window to her resting place, and the hole in my heart rips open afresh. I'll never forget her and I'll never stop loving her. I even dreamed about her the other night, it was wonderful to see her again.
