Goodbye Cookie Monster

My little monster passed away on the 7th Im still in shock that she has left me. I still remember the first day i saw you sitting in the pets at home adoption centre in a small cage. You climbed on top of the little house and rubbed your chin against the bars of the cage to get my attention. At first i was going to adopt another hamster until i saw that cheeky little face of yours and you melted my heart instantly.
You were such a sweet little girl, always sitting by the door of your cage waiting for me to wake up so you could have a good morning cuddle and goodnight treat. Im going to miss seeing your little ear tufts.
When you became ill i thought for sure that you was going to leave me that day but you fought against it for over a month taking that horrible tasting medicine because you knew it would help. You became very thin and wouldn't eat, the only thing you would eat was creamed porridge. I just hope that you are having a great time playing at rainbow bridge with all the other hamsters.
I miss you so much cookie , Run free little monster.

I'm sooo sorry for your loss... =( I really feel how special she was for you and I hope you can remember all those great moments you had the privilege to have with her...
