I think it's a wonderful resting place for Sherlock! If you ever need to move your location,
his resting place can go with you. When it blooms, it will remind you of how happy he made you feel and his own connection with you. I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm sure the rest of us are grieving with you. Play well at the Rainbow bridge little boy.
Hugs.

Thank you both. I keep going to water his plant every evening and it's kind of like he's still there, as strange as that sounds, haha. Still keep expecting him to be making a racket on an evening though, it's so quiet.

I am so very sorry. It was a very special bond you shared and he will always be with you in your heart.

Thank you very much guys.

I still miss him every day, it's very odd. I rest well though knowing that I gave him the best I could though. I kept thinking back on how much effort I went through after finding this website, buying cages, bigger wheels, balls, better food, more toys - just to keep him happy and it's almost consoling me to an extent.

I'd just like to give a mention to this website and the users in general also. Without this site and people on it Sherlock wouldn't have half as good a cage or care as he got. I'm very glad I decided to read up on here. Hopefully he appreciated all of it.

I just wish he was still here sometimes. I may or may not have been bought a new hamster by my friend - and I keep calling the poor thing Sherlock out of habit. He's very sweet and curious however, so I'm sure it'll drop. Still won't forget my little detective though.
