In December 2011 I lost my first Syrian Poppy to the cruel Pyo. I had no intention of getting another Syrian for a while. A trip out only a day after Poppy passed I saw little Pebbles. I couldn't resist. She was perfect from the start.
As the weeks went on we became so close, & then it started. The squeaking! She never stopped in or out of her cage this made me love her more. As soon as she saw me she would give a little squeak. She lived her life on permanent fast forward so hyper!
I feel so priviledged to have had Pebbles as my hamster. Even though I've lost her at only 17 months & my heart is completely broken I'll never forget her she's unbeatable. Last weekend she perked up & was back to her usual self but now I know she was doing it for me so we could share our last play imes & cuddles. She became ill again on Monday & passed peacefully yesterday afternoon.
So sorry for your loss,,, she was an utterly beautiful girl who lived life to the maximum and was always surrounded by your love.
Play well at the bridge little one

I love little Pebbles - her big ears when she was a baby, that only grew slightly smaller in comparison as she grew, her cute poses, her active personality...I will miss her too. I'm so sorry, Rach. x
