Rest in Peace Poppy

I woke up this morning to find Poppy passed away. She had been a little poorly and I was having to force-feed her water mixed with an electrolyte solution. She hadn't touched any of her food from last night, but when I woke up at 1am she was still breathing. 5am and she had gone

She was only here 9 months, and, ironically was 1 year and 7 months old to the day yesterday. She was a donation ham from Tristar and brought me a lot of happiness for the short while she was here.

I am at work right now but will post some pictures of her later on.

RIP Poppy. October 22nd 2006 - May 23rd 2008.

Oh I_Am I truly am so sorry to hear this. What an awful time to lose poor little Poppy so soon after little Rue. I know that she would have been surrounded with love and care each moment she spent with you

She had a brilliant 9 months with you, and you were trying so hard to get her well again these last few days. She is running free now though.

I'm so sorry Leanne, it can't be easy for you losing her so soon after Rue. She knew you loved and cared for her and I'm betting she knew she was a lucky donation ham the day you took her home.
