My little man Percy has gone to the bridge tonight. He was a lovely boy even though he had his moments. He never caused any problems and he and Alfie were always good friends, they were even closer when they were reintroduced. They slept together all the time and they would make nests in silly places!

This was Percy on his first day with me



He liked to squish into small spaces



He enjoyed the odd yoghurt drop



He was also a meerkat-er



He would always choose the noisy wheel just when I was trying to sleep



He would always say Hello when I opened up the house



This is him last night he was alert and happy and his tummy had reduced in size since Saturday, he was making big improvements



This was Percy this morning, he and Alfie had moved the nest to the sand bath - they were always making new nests around the cage



Im going to miss this little man - Alfie already looks lost without him! He passed quite fast so Im hoping he wasnt in too much pain. He was born on the 6th October 2012 and passed today at 20 weeks 3 days old.

Play well little man, you will be missed by all of your hamily - especially your squeeky sleeping

Thank you Shiny, GIS, Susie and Souffle. Alfie has been running around going to all their hiding places looking for him. I am doing full checks of every other hammy and then Alfie can come out for a bit longer for cuddles, more for me than him I think.
