Default R.I.P. baby Rupert

I cant believe I am having to post here so soon but Rupert passed away at only 5 months old on Tuesday night. He had been fine with no sign off illness or injury the day before. At least I know he had a happy life more than some hamsters have x

Oh no I am so very sorry There must have been something that just gave out suddenly. You never can tell with such a young hamster what has happened
When you feel able you must let the breeder know because this is important so that they can check out the lines and try and make sure there is nothing that needs investigated. They will also be sorry to hear about this and will most likely want to help you fill the hamster shaped hole in your lives when you are ready.
Play well at the bridge Rupert x

So so sorry for your loss. That really is so terrible. It's awful to lose them at full age never mind being so young! But like you said he had a better life compared to some others. Run free little Rupert!

I'm so so sorry, it's always so hard and unfair when they pass so young. As Souffle says, it will have been something that you just couldn't have known about, but it is important to let the breeder know. Play well baby Rupert xx
