I have been, somewhat feebly, avoiding coming to HC, until I felt emotionally stable enough to read this. I needn't have worried, because although I have cried, I've smiled so, so much.

It's not the first time Whizzbit (via you) has made me grin like a loon. You have painted such vivid pictures and stories of your time with Whizz that I've sometimes felt I could reach out and tickle him (he and Dasher have been in my dreams more than once!).

My birthday this year was a bit sucky - my 30th, spent on exams and sulking as I couldn't do much partying. Until.. BOOM! The biggest and bestest birthday surprise ever - my very own Pom Pom balloon! I almost burst with happiness, that I could look at Whizz sailing around my living room for weeks (and even now, I have kept the deflated balloon because it is So Lovely!!).

I'd like to thank you for sharing Whizzbit so much with us all, I really did consider him one of my extended 'hamily', as I do all the poms. I hope Chewy is up there, asking Big George not to squish Whizzy with hammy hugs. xxx

I'm SO glad you posted the Whizzbit balloon, it's the one bit I regretted not including in his memorial, how many hams get to actually be a balloon
