Marshmallow :(
I haven't been on for a while now, mainly due to being depressive over the fact that I thought Isabella was going to die. Turns out I was wrong.
Came upstairs and Marshmallow didn't appear.
Just found my gorgeous little girl curled up dead ; ;
R.I.P Marshy, you were the sweetest hamster anyone could ever want. I'm just sorry that we didn't have more time together.
Marshmallow was a 'second hand' hamster. She arrived in a tiny cage, a house she couldn't fit in to and not even a wheel. Treats seemed to be a complete mystery to her, and it took her a while to realise they were really yummy. Since then she learnt the joys of live food, with locust being a firm favourite, vegetables, fruit and egg were more of her likes.
Children on the other hand were not. Put her in little hands and get ready for squealing. I think her previous owner may have been a rough handed child.
All I can say is that I was so blessed to have her. I was looking at another hamster when she arrived, and I really think it was meant to be.
As I've said before I have no plans of ever buying a hamster on purpose again. I guess someone must need me more right now ; ;
Rest in peace Marsh ham. I love you <3

Re: Marshmallow :(
Bawling my eyes out >_<
Currently got people asking me why I don't just go get another.
Wonder if they would be saying that if she were a dog.

Re: Marshmallow :(
I have been preparing myself for Izzy to go not Marshy.
Izzy was a year and a half when I got her, as was Marshy. I have had Isabella for over a year now, Marshmallow only 5 months.
Izzy seems to be going on forever, no longer an extremely chubby hamster, but she is still running around like a nut job, demanding treats and out time.
Really wasn't expecting this.
I wonder who is going to need me next.
When Spirit died I agreed to take on a friends hamster. The day after she arrived I met Izzy. My terrified ball of fuzz. My friends hamster went home and Izzy came to stay.
I gifted a hamster heaven to a friend, had it given back. Converted it so I could attach it to Izzy's cage, and then Marshy arrived.
Really makes me wonder. -peers about suspiciously-
