Default My little Turner 17.1.07 - 20.3.08

Tonight I found my little winter white Turner all curled up dead in his nest. I knew as soon as I looked in his cage that he was dead - his food from last night was untouched.

I last saw him running on his wheel after his ball run when I fed him last night - the strange thing is that he's been very active these last few days, more so than normal. He's been looking very thin lately (as my other four old boys do as well) but he was always lively. It's a shock because he was so active - somehow I always thought he'd outlive his brother (who rarely comes out willingly anymore). His life seems so short, I hope it was happy.

I've left him in his nest for tonight - tomorrow Will and I will bury him in the garden. Will is away on a school trip until tomorrow morning so he doesn't know yet

Night night little Turner and sleep tight, you will be missed

Aw Holly, I'm so sorry. I remember you getting your WW brothers, it only seems like a heartbeat ago. Turner had a very good life with you, he was obviously having fun right up to the very end and passed peacefully, all a little hammie could hope for.
RIP little one and hugs to you and Will.

Im so sorry to hear about Turner Julie. He had a wonderful life with you though, and wanted for nothing from first to last. His whole life was surrounded with love care and kindness and he fell asleep knowing this I am sure.

Sleep well little man x

What a shock Julie, but it is best he has gone without having a nasty illness etc.

He was a handsome chap, and will be sorely missed.

*hugs to you and Will* I am thinking of you xx

RIP Turner xx

I'm so sorry to hear this Julie. He was such a lovely little guy.
I hope you and Will aren't too distressed (although I know it is impossible not to be). My thoughts are with you both.

Rest in Peace little man

I am so sorry to hear of your loss Julie and Will. Turner was such a little character and had a special sparkle about him. I clearly remember helping you choose him. He had a special life with you two and could not have wished for better. Rest in Peace little man. The bridge will shine tonight as a special little man crosses it.

Oh no poor Turner. He was a lovely little man and I'm sure he knew how much he meant to you. R.I.P little one, you will never be forgotten.
