Default Gemma

Gemma, my chinese, was found dead this morning. She appears to have bled internally. She was a rescue and we think she was 1 year and 2 months old. In her previous home she was known as Jim the male winter white hamster, a companion for Rosie the female winter white (now known as splodge the male).

Gemma didn't like being handled, but was friendly and loved treats and enjoyed playing in her 2-level IMAC fantasy cage with loads of toys.

Ahh so sorry to hear of little Gemma's passing.
Poor wee thing, but her time with you I am sure was filled with love and companionship. Those photos are lovely and she looked a very pretty little girl.

sleep well Gemma x

Aw no, how awful for you! To lose one beloved pet is bad enough, but to lose two so close together.....

I was looking at the cage pics today and was just thinking what a wonderful cage she had. You certainly did your best for her and I'm sure she really enjoyed the time she had with you.

So sorry Bunsey.

Goodbye Gemma x

Those photos look great, Bunsey - a fitting testimony to young Gemma, and the life she enjoyed with you.

RIP Gemma - play hard at the bridge!
