Default Riddle has gone to the Great Wheel in the sky

My diabetic hamster finally gave up the struggle yesterday sometime between 12 noon and 7PM. He was fine in the morning, his usual active self but by the evening he was dead curled up in a corner. He lived a very active 9 months and his needs were taken care of. Mercifully he succumbed very quickly and I know there was nothing more I could have done as he was born with the diabetic predisposition anyway.
On the plus side, his brother is still fine and active without diabetes.

Gone but not forgotten.

I'm sorry to hear that Pouchy, I know you did a lot of research to make his life as comfortable as possible. RIP Riddle.

Sorry to hear about Riddle Pouchy. Good that he was with you and that he was cared for and his needs met right up until the end.

RIP Riddle

At least you know you did everything for him and he had a good life with you that he probably wouldn't have enjoyed had many other people taken him home instead of you.

I'm sorry little Riddle passed away, Pouchy. I am sure you did all you could for him. Nine months was pretty good and certainly longer than if you hadn't worked so hard to treat his Diabetes.

RIP
