Has previously been used to house a Syrian Hamster, then a Winter White Dwarf Hamster. Is currently split in half with a wooden divider as it did house a Winter White Dwarf Hamster in each side.
So can currently be used as 2 cages or as 1 if the divider is removed.
The divider is held in place with Aquarium Sealant but this could easily be removed by cutting through the sealant with a knife or sharp scissors.
There are 2 separate homemade lids, 1 for each half. These aren't perfect, 1 fits snugly but the other doesn't quite fit, however, it does sit on top so does keep hammy contained and other pets out. The mesh is 13mm square mesh.
Comes with both the bottles
Will need a wipe out but is otherwise ready to house a new furry baby.
I currently have it on two of the 2x2 Kallax units and it would need to be housed on something similar in order to properly support the glass.
Whether used as 2 cages or 1 cage, it is one of the easiest to maintain cages and offers so much space. The hamsters I have housed in it have all been very happy.
Does not flat pack as there is aquarium sealant run around the ends to prevent any pee from soaking into the wood so a large car or van would be needed for collection.
