Syrian Hamster breeders -Manchester, uk
Hi
Does anyone know of any Syrian hamster breeders in Manchester?
Our little hamster Chewy passed away last week after having wet tail, we took her to the vets and she didn't respond to antibiotics and wasn't eating. She was only 4months old and we had followed advice from many sites on caring, raising and looking after our Chewy.
We got her from a well known pet store (PAH) but after reading many articles, we feel we need to do more research on where we get a hamster from in the future.
Any advice or help is very much appreciated.

If you check out the national hamster council website there'll be a list.
You can also check out any local shows with sales tables.
And there's a non-NHC breeder called Hammysworld who often comes highly recommended. They have a website too

Nooboo hamstery and Scorpio Syrians are both in Manchester. I think they may have litters just now. Nearbye is also Leedshams in Leeds and Aire City in Leeds. Moderator Leedsgurl (Leedshams) had a recent litter and there are still some babies left I think if you contact her to enquire.
I;m sorry to hear about your little one

Thank you for your advice. We have contacted nooboo and Scorpio Syrians. Currently no litters at nooboo but hopefully some at Scorpio.
Didn't realise how much of a gap has been left in our hearts since losing our little one, so sad at such a young hamster age.
Thank you for all your comments

Would definitely recommend hamster breeders in the future, we now have a 6week old black eyed cream hamster named Apollo. The level of information we received from the breeder was fantastic.

Bec, where did you get Apollo from in the end? I'm in a Manchester and am about ready to start looking for a new hamster x

Bec got him from Scorpio Syrians in Carrington, I believe.

There is a show at Lymm near the Trafford Centre on 30th Match. If you contact the rehome manager nearer the time you could ask if there would be any babies available for rehoming nearer the time and you could come along to the show
