Re: Cost of a show hamster?
I was asked for £8 each for Star and Hamish. I paid £10 for each though as Hamish's money went to a rodent rescue organisation and Star's breeder gave us a big bag of food and some treats for her. I'd be willing to pay double that for a breeder hamster that's been well socialised and comes from good stock vs. a rodent farm hamster from a pet shop

Re: Cost of a show hamster?
lisab at picknmix hamsters lives in wales I believe, altho not north, so she might be able to help,
on average at shows hamsters are£5-8, sometimes less or 'offer' these are ones that are a little older, non show able or had previous litters normally. My hammond is stunning, he was £3 because he was 4 months old by the show bless him, glad he is all mine tho!

Re: Cost of a show hamster?
my pedigree Syrian was £8 (from Querceti), whereas my P@H Syrian was £9.50. my sister's Winter White pair were £16, so £8 each (from Tuftyfluff).
