hi there
Hi my names Kath and I would like to introduce myself. I have just bought 2 dwarf hamsters, both females, they're 9weeks old, and I'm interested in any information you can give me. My daughter loves them to bits already. We also have a few other pets. We have 3 budgies, not in same cage, 2 rabbits, and gold fish (all different types) in a 4ft tank. I'm hoping to make new friends aswell so look forward to hearing from you all

Welcome Kath, we are certainly glad to have you here on HC! Glad to see another avid pet lover! I just love pets myself. I use to own birds; I’ve had budgies, cockatiels and a lovebird in the past. But my hubby doesn’t really like the noise so now I’m down to rodent’s, fish and cats.
I have 6 gerbils, 1 Roboroviski hamster, (sadly my syrian died recently, but I plan on another!), two cats, and a bunch of freshwater fish in a 75-gallon tank.
HC has a bit of information on dwarfs, have you had a chance to read on it yet? I suppose the information isn’t as in depth as I would like to be eventually but it's something to start with! Much of the information is shared amongst owners of the forum, so it was good of you to join! I look forward to seeing more posts from you, and perhaps you can share some pictures!

Welcome to the forum Kath and your little furry freinds. Hopefully someone will be able to help out with any queries you have. We have 5 Syrians and one dwarf (a Campbells). Which type are yours? Looking forward to seeing some pictures if you have any, and speaking to you on the forum soon.
