Hiya I'm New to Hamster Central
Hiya I'm Kandyfloss & brand new to Hamster Central, I joined up because it looks like a fantastic website & I love Hamsters! I am a proud owner of 4 male Chinese dwarf hammies and i love them more than ever.

Welcome to the forum Kandyfloss. Great to have someone from Spain and with Chinese Hamsters too. We don't have too many of them here. Looking forward to your posts and meeting your hamsters.

Yes, chinese hamsters aren't very common over here in the UK, I'd love a pair. Do post some pictures of yours when you can and tell us all about them
Wherabouts in Spain are you? I travelled around Spain quite a bit, it's my favourite country.

Welcome Kandyfloss!! Im so glad you joined us! we have many friendly people here, Im sure youll enjoy the forum! Ive seen Chinese hamsters here and there (Im in the US) Id like to own one someday

Wow everyones so friendly here! As soon as i get some photos of my Chinese Hammies il post them, they are gorgeous little things.
I live in Murcia/Alicante (very hot). Do not alot of people own chinese Hamsters in the UK?

so glad you found us
No the Chinese hamster is not a very popular pet here in UK, but it is VERY common in research laboratories. I am not sure why this is, but the stubby tail maybe puts some people off, some issues with availablility and some people have had problems with aggression towards cagemates.
