Welcome to the forum... Wow that is allot of hams.. And yes they like to breed, breed, breed, so one needs to be careful and make sure the girls stay with the girls and the boys with the boys.

I didnt get ALL 13+ By breeding......



I resuced 5 ( gave 2 away).....then resuced another 7

Then one of the first ones i got had babys...



I'm keep ALL cages single sex !!!!

Welcome. When you said that they are seperated in cages by sex, do you have all of each sex in a cage? If so how do they get along?

I have 3 age groups of hamsters......

I started with 2 girls in a cage (stella & bubbles)together and

1 boy (fluffy) all on his own in another cage !



Then i was given 7 (2 boys & 5 girls) slightly younger ones -

the 2 boys (cinders & buttons) i introduced to the single male(fluffy)...they seem to get on fine ...only a few squables.



the 5 girls (who are awaiting rehoming and are name less) have there own fish tank !!...and get on very well.



last week one of my older 2 females had babies (bubbles) ...so we have a bit of a problem there....the mother doesnt like the other female ( stella)coming out of her own part of the cage.



They are ALL Winter Whites....The 3 older ones and the 7 younger ones share the same parents...if you want the FULL STORY then feel free to visit my web site which is all about my hamsters.
