Default Newbie from Berkshire, England

Hi guys,

I'm new here - have been searching some threads RE health care for my Syrian.

I have two Syrians at the moment, Omlet and Moss.

Omlet is a brown 1.5yr old female from Happy Hamsters rescue (she was surrendered as part of an accidental litter).
Moss is a black and white 5month male, I adopted him from Pets at Home adoption section. He was sold as unhandle-able, as he was originally bought by a family with children who mishandled and dropped him, then was returned to store and adopted by a woman who two days later gave him back because she didn't feel a connection to him 🤷*♀️.

Both Hams have their own cages in the lounge, on teabag bedding and with sand, soil, moss, etc enrichment. I try to do my best for them.

Omlet is a sneaky ghost hammy, her stuff moves and food disappears but she is silent and it's always nice to see her. She doesn't mind being handled occasionally.
Moss loves to run on his wheel, but is very skittish of hands. He is slightly fluffy, especially on his bum.

Welcome to Hamster Central! That's amazing of you to give those hamsters a second chance, I'm sure they appreciate you. They are also adorable, the second hammy kind of looks like mine! Hopefully you find everything you need here at HC!
