Emergency about laboring hamster!

Guys please help me. I have a hamster and this was suppose to be her 2nd labor. She gave birth a few months ago. And I dont know how she gave birth before but it was ok the mother is fine and the babies were fine.

But now the mother hamster is getting weak huhu help idk but she is not responding well, but she drinks water and I think theres a black thing on her private part?? I dont know.

She has been like this for 40 minutes already, and im so scared because a few months ago I have a hamster who was giving birth but she died because her babies didnt got out. I dont want to experience it again. Im having a hard time breathing im losing composure im so anxious right now please help me what should I do

Guys please she's getting weak i dont want to lose her, im so anxious huhuhuhu please please please help me

When your hamster is experiencing such difficulty, please do no post online to wait for answers, get them to a vet asap. I hope she was taken to a vet after this and is ok

Thats the exact problem, we dont have a professional vet here. I feel so helpless right now..

It sounds as if there is a stuck pup in the birth canal. You could try and ease the pup out but it is most likely dead and mother may be too weak to deliver them now.
If you don't have a vet nearby then breeding hamsters is really not an option for you as it is essential they have vet care in emergencies.
I hope the mum manages to deliver and all is well.

I hope the Mum is ok. Please don’t have any more litters unless you can source a vet in your area. Giving birth can need emergency care.

Guys, this was an accidental litter and she was trying to get help. She's in another country that doesn't have as much access to vets. I sent her here in hopes that maybe one of the breeders could help her.

I for one assumed that shinjiri was someone who bred hamsters because the hamster had given birth before and it said that this was supposed to be her second labour which sounded intentional.

I hope the hamster survived without the much needed help of a vet. So sorry that you are faced with such heartache shinjiri. Sometimes all we can do is try our best and let nature take its course when help isn't available.

They stated a hamster had already died giving birth. We appreciate the varying levels of vet care in different countries but members should also note we are not vets and unable to provide emergency vetinary advice. A regular vet could still be better than trying to self manage to limit the hamsters pain and distress

I understand that there isn't a vet on here but there are more breeders on this forum than any other hamster forum that I am aware. Maybe not anymore, I don't know, but more than say hamsterhideout which is mostly children. Either way, is it necessary to say the word vet three times? As if they will make them appear, when there are none?

There are also more adults on here that might have experience with hamster births.

Still no reason to be rude to a person in a stressful situation.

Nobody was being rude. It sounded like an emergency situation where the appropriate course of action was to seek out a vet. HC is run by volunteers thus not all new member posts are instantly approved and a good 5hr had lapsed between the post and being approved, which is why we also advise that in emergency situations, in person help should be sought.

Souffle, who replied, has been breeding for several decades and also advised the same. Without seeing the hamsters situation directly, it is hard to advise as a number of things could be happening.

I hope mum and the litter were ok in the end
