My name is Hugo, i'm 27 yo, i'm from Azores Islands (Portugal) and i am a Forest Cop by profession.

I recently bought my very first hammster, things are not going very well but i love his cute little face!

I will appreciate any help regarding tamming hammsters.

I do envy you for living in the Azores.

Your little robo looks absolutely gorgeous. Often enough robos are hamsters to watch more than to handle which doesn't mean that yours won't tame.

Mine comes to my hand to eat linseeds and lets me stroke him while he's busy eating but that's as far as we got. As soon as i try to lift him he runs off but that's fine with me.

Work at your hamster's pace and accept whatever she feels comfortable with is my advice.

Does she have a sandbath?
