Hi Cypher thanks for your reply.
Last night I did my first deep clean of his cage whilst sat next to him in his playpen.
I kept 3/4 plus of his substrate & only took a little bit of wet stuff from his nest & replaced some of his stash
I have then topped the substrate as Ria P advised & there is evidence of burrowing this morning
& I have also added his sand bath into his cage as saw how much he liked it in his playpen
I have also got him a new wheel as the one that came with the cage cracked when I was cleaning it the other day.
Naming him Hagrid is kind of ironic for such a little guy hey
