Hello!
Having not had any pets since I was a teenager I finally succumbed and brought Doug home last weekend.
He's a rescue dwarf hybrid (I think he looks closest to a winter white) and about a year old. Considering how long he's been here he's quite outgoing, but we're working on being awake at the same time...
He seems quite happy with the space he's got but I'm already stalking fb marketplace for 6ft fish tanks - so much more room for landscaping
Looking forward to sharing more about him and learning from you guys!

Re: Hello!
Hello and welcome to HC!
Doug looks so cute and alert. His set up looks interesting too. Any chance of a photo of Doug's current habitat please?

Re: Hello!
Thanks guys!
He's in an Elmo XXL at the moment, which I think is the shorter version of the Borneo? Glad I went for that one, since he's absolutely useless at climbing.
Someone has been tunneling under his wheel today so I need to work out how to attach it to the roof before he crushes himself I think cable ties should be okay since he won't be able to reach them? Don't think I can screw it on without taking the cage apart...

Re: Hello!
You could use a Ferplast guinea pig house minus the front panel submerged into the substrate as a platform. That's what i do.
