Re: Hairless hamster bath?
I assume you mean hairless as in genetic mutation rather than because of illness?
Not 100% sure on baths as this will make them cold and dry their skin out.
However what I do know:
• soft paper bedding is best as their skin can be easily scratched
• barred cages are best avoided because of drafts
• thermometer next to the cage are a advised to monitor temperature
• entrances to hides need to be quite large so they don't scratch themselves

Re: Hairless hamster bath?
By baths do you mean sand baths?
If so I don't think hairless hamsters are meant to have sand baths, not 100% sure why, maybe because it drys/irritates their skin too much.

Re: Hairless hamster bath?
I don’t see any reason why you might need to bathe a hairless hamster & as their skin is so fragile & they can get cold very easily I really don’t think that would be appropriate.

Re: Hairless hamster bath?
Hi and welcome to HC!
I always thought that hamsters should not be bathed at all because there is no need and that it could be harmful due to the possibility of catching a cold.
Where did you hear that you should bathe your hamster?
