Re: Our Rory
He looks a bit cross and definitely like he's trying to say - how could you leave me here!

Re: Our Rory
Rory's nearly 1.5 and has started to slow down a bit. Not sure yet if its age or health related or seasonal.
He has been known to change his habits and behaviours so could be that.
Rory gets up later and doesn't demand to get let out by rattling on his door now soon as he sees Rodney zooming around on the floor. I have noticed that he drinks a little more so maybe his kidneys aren't working as effectively as they used to. He still wants out every evening and sits by his door waiting for me but asks to go back home sooner than he used to. The other night he fell asleep on the carpet while sitting under a helmet.
It's easy to do a health check because he's so tame and i haven't noted anything amiss. What i need to do is weigh him more often.
I suppose 1.5 is roughly 60 in human years so he's catching up with me and my days of clubbing the night away are long gone. I'd rather go to sleep. Know how you feel Rory.

Re: Our Rory
Aw - Rory sounds cute in his slowing down. 18 months is the start of the ageing process and it all sounds par for the course to me. They can have fits and starts - energetic for a while, staying in more for a while. But apart from all that I think the colder weather changes their behaviour a bit - ours build bigger nests and hide away more. Except for Pip the Robo who seems impervious.

Re: Our Rory
Rory's starting to look a little dishevelled now but he's still our handsome boy.
He's energetic tonight and running around all over the place.

Re: Our Rory
Yep, Rory is really starting to show his age now.
He doesn't need a bungalow just yet but he is getting tired.
Drinks and pees a lot more so i have to clean his en suite every couple of days. He used to get upset about that but seems to have accepted it now or maybe he's just too tired to argue. I know the feeling old boy.

Re: Our Rory
Aww bless him. He is still such a handsome chap and is lucky to be able to live out his twilight time in your care. Let’s hope the bungalow is still some time off x
