Re: Hi
Thanks everyone. I was wondering what in your opinion is the best enrichment. I just bought an detolf and am in the process of building a raised lid, so what should I fill it with. I am already planning to do a half kaytee and half aspen and build a shelf to put his wheel but as it is much bigger I don't know how to fill it. Nico is a russian campbells dwarf.

Re: Hi
Cork tubes or tunnels are always good, coconut hides are usually a favourite with them too, a good size sand bath is another must have, other than that you might have space for some smaller little hideouts, they like things like egg boxes with a hole cut in each end, sprays of millet & flax if you can get it are good for enrichment too.

Re: Hi
I already have a sand bath that I built a few months ago. Thanks for the tip on coconut hides, I definitely should get one. I also want to make a multi chamber hide from cardboard (if it works )

Re: Hi
If you can afford it; cork tunnels, wicker tunnels, grass chew mats, bendy bridges, ceramic hides, wooden hides, piece of grapevine.
If on a budget, rummage through your recycling and see what you can come up with to make tunnels and hides etc; recycle shoe boxes, small boxes, egg cartons tubes etc. just make sure no sticky tape or staples in them. Also check out your local charity shop and see what you can find that would make good hides.
Hope this helps, you already seem to have quite a bit in mind.
