Re: Hello
Thank you so much for your help
Does anyone have any advice on what I should feed him? He’s a hybrid and I have no idea what’s best for him?

Re: Hello
I currently feed mine the Bunny Dwarf mix with freeze dried chicken but the Rodipet and Getzoo mixes are also really good.

Re: Hello
Welcome to the forum! Flump is as cute as his name!
I've never had a dwarf (as Chinese are not classed as dwarves) but I have seen many owners recommending dwarf mixes, so they certainly appear to have their own dietary requirements (I think they're more prone to diabetes). Hopefully you've found answers already in the Feeding and nutrition section.

Re: Hello
You do need to feed him a dwarf specific mix & there aren’t any available in the uk (I think you’re in the uk?) The best option is the Rodipet hybrid junior mix.

Re: Hello
Thank you, he is certainly very sweet. He’s mainly white with some light grey markings.
Yes I’m in the UK. I’ve heard recommendations for rodipet before but just wanted to be sure it was the right thing before ordering it, as will do a bulk order.
We have just adopted a Syrian hamster too, is the rodipet Syrian mix any good?

Re: Hello
I think the Rodipet teddy junior is higher protein than the Syrian junior so I'd personally go with that instead just in case.

Re: Hello
Lovely to hear you’ve adopted another ham, I don’t have personal experience with Syrians but many people here feed Harry Hamster, if you prefer a more natural mix then the Rodipet mix would be fine.

Re: Hello
Yeah, I feed my Syrian boy Harry Hamster and a few Science Selective hamster pellets, fresh veg/fruit/protein along with a pinch of linseed, a few sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, with treats being purpose made hamster treats and the occasional monkey nut. He also gets a bit of Bonio and the Pedigree milk bones too. It's nice to switch it up and offer a variety.

Re: Hello
Aww he looks lovely! Our dwarf loves mealworms as a treat, broccoli and chicken! We give him a mix of Harry hamster and the bunny mix x
