Wanted to say hello to everyone! I'm a new mom to a hamster, have a 17yr old daughter and have previously loved three guinea piggies. Daughter wanted a new pet, but has since lost interest, but I knew that would happen as she lost interest in the piggies pretty early on as well, so they always were my pets, and I love them dearly. Our last piggie passed away (at age 6) about two years ago, and I just wasn't ready for another rodent.

My daughter's friend was going out of town and we watched her little robo for a week and I was fascinated, so much different than a piggie in every way! She begged me for a hamster and after much research I agreed and we brought our little baby home to his new habitat mid June 2020. I love him so much!

Looking forward to learning more about these curious creatures and getting to know this community as well.

We actually got a Syrian! He is still a baby and his name is Beans
