Hey there hamster people
My little brother is actually the owner of our 2 hamsters but i'm here to gain more knowledge on hamsters. I might get myself one too
he has 2 hamsters in a 50 gallon glass tank on a stand. This makes it quite cat proof. I want to put an attached cage on the top that they can climb up to. Any ideas on how to do that? Where to get one? I only find those for 10 gallon tanks. Thanks!

You could make a top part out of a storage bin. It probably wouldn’t be the whole top tho, but you could get a fairly decent sized one

Hello and welcome to HC!
I hope that the tank has a meshed top. Someone with DIY skills could build a raised wooden framed lid with meshed sides and top. People with detolf cages sometimes have them instead of flat meshed lids and you may be able to google those raised lids.
