Default Worried about hamster and new to board

Hi,
I have a syrian male hamster called Wilbur. He is about 18 months old and a few months back he got a sticky eye. The vet examined, found nothing wrong and gave me eye drops. Recently it's started again and the vet again found nothing wrong. There is nothing sharp in his cage, no chemicals and large cage , all natural items in cage. I have been told to bathe his eyes with cool boiled salt water. But its getting to the point where I have to do this daily.
To make matters worse, we had to make the decision to stay at my sisters for lockdown. She has a quiet place in the country and we drove up to her a few days back. (all responsibly isolating from each other)
Since the drive, he has started getting really greasy oily fur (been this way for two days now)
I'm worried he is stressed, I'm worried about his eyes and I don't know what to do because of lockdown.
Any advice greatly received as we adore him and just want to do best by him. How can I help him feel less stressed? X p.s he has sand bath for coat.
