Post Say Hi and share 'He is growing up

Lucky me join this community, I do Thank you. 🙏😀

Say Hi , I am a beginner, an ower dwarf hamster named Bibimbap. I am doing research and had some upgraded of minimum basic required for hamster already. Such as floorspace of cage which I just upgraded last 2 weeks.(450² inches aquarium).

Now I am sharing his weight record from 20 Jan 20 until yesterday 4 Feb 20. I realize that a half month he possibly has this double weight gain, from 15 to 30 grams ? 😂 I am learning his growing up curve. I attached some photos from the weight 19 to 30 gr. (No photo of 15 gr)

Note1 that I brought him from pet shop from 10 Jan 20 which he had already 1-month-age, (the seller said)
And his diet is a hamster mix from pet shop + baby food about ⅓ piece (coin size) per day but he never finish baby food btw.

Note2 In my life, only experienced cats
(now I have no cat)

Welcome! Your hamster Bibimbap is lovely! I have one just like him.And I think his name is very cute!

They grow and gain weight very quickly. As an adult (at about 5 to 6 months old) a normal weight would be around 55 grams for a winter white like little Bibimbap. So he will still gain some more weight!

Is the hamster food that you give him for dwarf (mini) hamsters? These hamsters must not eat food that is high in sugar content. Their diet is very different to a syrian or teddy bear hamster.

Your hamster is lovely!

Thank you for sharing me with kindness. I will follow your sugguest I will do study more about food nutrition. There are not so variety of Hams treats around my area. Better to do some D.I.Y. mix.

Thank you again 🙏😀
