Sounds like you are doing all you can for Fluffy. If only this beautiful level of care was considered the norm for all animals ...

Hope he continues to improve. Awww to the vision of him pushing with his feet to escape from meds! Another vote for baby food. Ellas kitchen organic. Best of luck.

another vet appt tomorrow and see what to do next

his abcess still has not yet burst and i noticed more swelling ( he was only on that med until last week)

he is still on daily antibiotics and i think were keeping his weight good. he seems to like scrambled eggs lol i also picked up organic baby food and he has been eating that as well.

he is still peeing and pooping and he moves around playing with my daughter so fingers crossed

hoping he can maybe poke the abcess with a needle and check it since its swellng close to his eye . I'm just hoping her little guy is not in pain he doesn't seem to be but its still stressing on my mind

unfortunately we had to put mr fluffy down.

it was not an abcess like we thought , the vet tried to poke it to see if he could relieve pressure but its a tumor ( which is what i thought for the past few days ) he lost more weight even though i was doing everything i could and we decided it was the best for him .

thank you everyone for your help
now a broken hearted hamster grandma

I'm very sorry for your loss, you did everything you could for him & the kindest thing in the end, it is heartbreaking but he's pain free & at peace now.
