Question Scared hamster

Hi
I have had my little dwarf hamster tony for about 6 months
He is so scared whenever I come anywhere near him and I cannot handle him at all cos he jumps out of my hands and I risk losing him. He runs away from me so fast as well hes impossible to catch.
I try so hard to get him comfortable around me, trying to let him sniff my hand and talking to him but hes just so terrfied all the time.
I spoil him so much, he has a very big enclosure and gets lots of treats and toys but just isn't making any progress.
Has anyone got any tips or shall I just accept he is not a sociable hamster?
Any advice would be great!

What kind of big enclosure does he have? I just saw your other post about the bath, is that where you mean?
Having you ham in a good large cage set up with cover, lots of hideouts & places to feel safe & also not too much open space in the cage will really help him feel confident & begin to trust you.
