Taming Help
Hey there was wondering if anyone could help me with a hamster which I’ve had for around 3 weeks now. I’m finding it hard to pick him up at all and when he’s wondering around his cage and I come closer he tends to go back into his nest. He’s completely fine with my hand around him and feeding him treats however as soon and I try and pick him up he jumps over my hand. He doesn’t bite he just avoids my hand, I can stroke him with him being okay aswell. I was wondering if anyone could help me because I don’t have a clue what to do.

Re: Taming Help
I've seen videos of people holding their palm open with treats on them. See if he steps on your hand to get the treats or not. They do this for a while then they're able to pick their hamster up.
