Hello, please help

Hi Guys,
I've just joined here and wanted to introduce my hamster Annabell.
She is an almost 2 year old roan Syrian hamster (her birthday is 27th September). She is my only hamster and is in quite a bad way because of her old age. I believe she has arthritis and is going deaf as well as loosing a lot of weight rapidly, can I please get some advice on how to look after her at this time as she is my first hamster and i have not experienced this before.

I think you should take Annabell to the vet to find out what's wrong with her. Maybe its something that can be treated or she may need pain relief.

she might be having trouble with her teeth like our old hamster Cotton. he started losing weight in Jan when his 2nd birthday came. the vet confirmed his teeth weren't functioning. he's been living on baby food ever since. still a skinny little thing and getting very doddery now.

Thanks, her teeth are a bit overgrown but because of her age I Don't want to stress her out with going to a vet just to clip her teeth, I will start adding in more soft food and maybe softening her current food with some water.
