Default Greetings from Humphrey

Hello everyone,

My name is Chilli and this is my hamster Humphrey. I got him from the pet store almost a week ago. He’s currently very happy and healthy. His favourite vegetables are peas and his favourite things to do are: jumping in and out of his wheel and tucking himself into his dust bath. The store couldn’t tell me how old he was but was probably between 8-12 weeks. At first he was very jumpy and nervous, now he’s much more confident. He’s taking treats from my hands and has calmed down. He’s very nosey and likes to listen to myself and my partner talk! Here is a few pictures I took of him, despite being so wriggly.

Question: what colour is Humphrey?

Thank you everyone for your welcomes! I have already learnt so much from the forum already from just from googling questions. However, I thought I would be missing out if I couldn’t join in myself. . I look forward to spending some time on here.

I’m currently extending Humphrey’s cage as I found out that it’s too small! It’s a lazy bones hamster cage from The Range I obtained for free. I’m now acquiring a Savic Bristol cage to extend it. I ordered a tube straight tube and ended up with a curved one! Not too impressed. I was wondering if it could do the job however..

Welcome, and Humphrey is super adorable! I do have a soft spot for the long haired ones especially, they look so furry and cute.

I think the Savic Bristol might be too small though... someone please correct me if I am mistaken. The one I am seeing on Google is 59cm x 37cm. What are its dimensions of the cage you are getting please?

P/s: Adding a tube to join two small cages together is not the same as having a big cage.
