New hamster owner

Hi!
I recently bought a hamster, 7 days ago to be exact. I did a lot of research before bringing him home, but i still wasn't fully prepared for my hamsters personality! I love animals but ive only really had contact with guinea pigs and other large animals. So im a little unsure with this shy little creature.

About dobby
He's a syrian hamster
White black and brown
I'd really like help on quite a few issues because im determined to give dobby the best life💕

I love the name Dobby for a hamster! They do look a bit like house elves sometimes! Does yours have big ears

hiii Serendipity7000, when i bought him his ears were the most prominent thing about him 🤭 and he was a little more docile than his litter mate. Now that hes confident and 7 days older hes CRAZY
