Exclamation My hamster has a red spots coming up over her body , anyone know what it could be

My Syrian hamster Olive is around 2 years old and around a week ago I noticed a red spot appear on her head by her ear. I thought it was just a minor thing and decided to leave it to heal. The next day I noticed another one of these spots that had formed around her eye , then another 2 on her legs and one on the back of her ear. Each day more of these spots are starting to appear and seem to be growing and becoming scabby. Will properly be seeking veterinary advice but was wondering first if anyone had an idea about what is causing this?

These sound like bites. Check for ants around her cage and also you need to look for other parasites like mites and fleas. Try and get her seen by a vet soon as these can be very draining on a small animal like a hamster.
