Gerald.
Hey. Just registered as I'm a new to the world of hamsters. We got gerald last week and in love already.
Will be on here a lot as I'm new it's all rather fascinating. I never realised hamsters were so tame and friendly. I am lucky he was handled alot before I got him but now when you walk in the or call him he comes out of his bed or closer to the bars.
Could some body advice me on how I make dimensions of a pic smaller?

Re: Gerald.
Best way I know to post pics is to upload them to Imgur, get the BB code link then use picnames.jpg for small pics, picnamem.jpg for medium or picnamel.jpg for large ones. You can also just Google a picture resizing website
to do it, there are loads, but Imgur is handy for keeping all your pics in one place
Gerald sounds like a little sweetheart, can't wait to see him! Welcome to the forum!

Re: Gerald.
Gerald is such an adorable name! I got my hammie four days ago and I was in love from the moment I saw him - they're just too cute. As for this forum, i've been obsessed, there's absolutely everything on here and everyone is so sweet! Welcome <3
As for changing dimensions of a photo, there are plenty of free websites that do photo resizing if you just Google 'Free online picture resizer'. If the photo is taken on a phone you can probably either crop the picture or download a free app if you do the same searching.

Re: Gerald.
Welcome to HC
Gerald does sound lovely, look forward to seeing him.
There's a thread here that might help with resizing photos.
How to resize photos 2018
The other option is to email them to yourself, select small in the email image options, save that copy to upload.

Re: Gerald.
Thank you for replies. He is super lovely. Cant wait to show you him. We've took a ton of pics and videos already.
Is it fairly normal they are this friendly then? I imagined he wouldn't be.
